Today in P.E hurumanu we learned about the Fosbury Flop for the high jump. I found out that you are meant to jump from one foot and you can take a small jog instead of a fast run to the bar. We had the bar put just above the mat so we could practice instead of just going into what the bar in athletics. The Fosbury Flop is when you take a small jog and turn ]just before you jump, then you lift one leg up and jump off your other foot.
After that we went outside onto the field and started to learn more about shotput; We started by looking away from where we were going to throw and took one step forward turned on out toes and pushed the shotput from out of our neck into our destination. After that, we went inside and ended our class with this blog post.
I am a student at in Uru Mānuka. In 2020 I was a year 9 and in 2021 I will be a year 10. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note....some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

Ki-O-Rahi
This week we have done some research about the game Ki-O-Rahi. We started off by finding out what we wanted to know by researching th9ings about Ki-O-Rahi. Then we put all of our information on a slideshow to present it to our teacher. After that, I got feedback from my friends and decided to make it look better by putting images and making it readable.
