Who, What, Where? - Changes And Challenges

Today for drama, we had been given a few sites to look on for some drama games. I decided to look at Drama Resources to find the game that I would share with my friends. While looking, I found a game called Who, What, Where and decided that it would be a fun game to share with my friend. After I got with my friends and showed them the explanation, we decided that it was like charades so we decide that that would be our deciding game. As we were playing others joined in, bringing in more and more people to play this incredible game with us. In the end, we all shared some laughs and had so much fun playing with some people we don't normally work with and getting to know more people.

Changes And Challenges - Games

On Tuesday we started our drama hurumanu by Getting to know each other and playing games to get into the drama theme. We started off in a big circle on the floor with all of our shoes off.

We played a game where one person went our sie while we picked a leader. That leader would stomp, clap, wave or something while everyone also copies. The person that went outside comes back in and has 3 chances to find out who the leader is. then the person who was the leader chooses who is the new one while the person who went outside picks someone else to go out.

After that, we got into partners and looked at each other in the eyes. I ended up on lying down laughing my heart out. We played 2 truths 1 lie and I was partnered with mya. After we said ours and guessed we got into groups of 4 by just adding on another group. We ended up with the guys and Found it awkward.

Then we played tequila. No, I do not mean the drink but I do mean the game. It was where we passed on the action and word and when someone shouted tequila then we walk around to the other side of the circle and when the music stops we stop and start again. If someone says a weird word then we all have to jump. I don´t remember what the words were but I found then very weird.

Last, of all, we played statues without really knowing what was going on. My friend kept moving when they weren't looking so she can have fun while learning how to play. She got out within the first 3 minutes. I stayed in the game a little longer but got out when they went in my face and I started laughing. Then a lot of people were laughing cause I ended on the floor.

CLIMATE CHANGE - GAME

For the past 8 weeks in Digital Technology, we have been creating games and apps to promote our problems. My problem was Climate Change and I decided to create my own game. It was very complicated and I didn't get it at first but as time went on I started to understand what I was doing. I chose to do climate change because I think that it is a big problem that we need to solve. If we keep polluting the world and melting the ice we might destroy the world and not even know it.

Today for our Hurumana we created our own games. First, we created our game then got them checked by Mr. Mitchel. Then He put us into groups so we can deduce our games and see which one we would play. Luckily for me, the team choose my game to play and I think that we had a lot of fun. My game is free to use so you can play it.

OBJECT OF THE GAME -

Make the ball stop bouncing on the other player's side and win the point.

EQUIPMENT AND PLAYERS -

With each game, there are 2 players.
1 on each side if the line so they can vs each other with the game of
TENNIS BOUNCE.

The equipment you will need is -

• 2 paddles with each game
• 1 tennis ball
• Line (as the net)

WINNING THE GAME -

To win the game you need to get the most points by stopping the
ball on the other side without going onto their side. If you hit the
ball far away from where they are and it stops on their side then
you get a point. However, if they get the ball to stop
on your side then they get a point

RULES -

• AS LONG AS THE BALL IS BOUNCING THEN YOU ARE STILL IN.
• IF THE BALL STOPS ON YOUR SIDE YOUR OUT.
• STAY IN YOUR SQUARE.
• WHEN IT STOPS THEN THE OTHER PERSON GETS 1 POINT.
• IF YOU HIT THE BALL WITH YOUR HANDS THEN THE OTHER PLAYER GETS THE POINT.
• DO NOT KICK THE BALL.
• DO NOT GO ON THE OTHER PLAYERS SIDE.
• HAVE FUN.
