My Amazng Fantastic Bread Reacount

For writing we have been doing a bread reacount because we have been learning about healthyr food for inquary and also because, We read a bid, tall book about bread. I had to shrink the size because it woulded all fit in 1 paige. It took a while but finaly I got it. I was so proud of my self because this is the most writing for 1 hole entire year. At the bottem I have placed a video that show's me reading my writing just incase you don't realy want to read it.
The amazing fantastic homemade bread

“Hummmmm” Will this work or will this fail? Today in class the year 5 / 6 Learning Community made some delicious homemade bread. There are two reasons why we made the bread. One of them is because we were learning about healthy eating for inquiry. The other reason is because we read a big book about bread. Here is how we made it.

First the teacher’s laid out all of the ingredients and the equipment. While they were laying them out all of us went to go and wash our hands. We washed our hands because we didn't want to spread germs around the class.

Then we needed to combine all of the ingredients into two separate bowls. In one bowl there was flour, salt and sugar. In the other bowl there was yeast and water Mrs Jack mixed it up. It looked like really easy at first but than it looked like it got really hard to mix´s.

After that Mrs Jack kneaded the dough with the heel of her hand and then folded it over. She did it because we need to have a light bread not a lump of dough that has been cooked. She repeated it for quite a long time but when she finished the dough looked like a clump of clay.

Then we put the sticky dough in a clean bowl and it looked like someone had scored a goal in basketball. We put a tea tall on it so no fly’s get on it. We put the bread in a warm place to rise up and make it thicker. We left it there for a round about an hour. We knew that there would be a lot more bread if we did it.

After the time past Mrs Jack kneaded it one last time. She molded it into a random shape and it turned out to be an oval. then we did the final rise until it was going to go in the oven. We put it in room 9 because it is the warmest room in the school. Finally it was ready to go into the oven and we were all excited. It took a hour but it was worth it.

After all or that drama we finally got to try it. Room 7 had to wait because if we gave it too them room 8 and half or room 7 would have to  miss out. Don’t worry because we made 2 loaves of bread. It tasted like homemade scones with the tough outside and the dishes warm soft inside. It was light and fluffy and i loved it.

I think that the bread was great but i felt bad for room 7 because they had to wait for more bread. There wasn't enough for everybody at the start. The End.
