This term we were working on different printing styles. Last week did block printing. I decided to spring out a pandas face without the outline so it would just be some ears, a nose, mouth, and cute panda eyes. We started by drawing out our design onto some cardboard paper because it was thick and the paint wouldn't bleed through the paper. After that, we used crafting knives to cut out our design until it is how we want on the fabric. Once our design was complete we grabbed a screen, squeegee, and some paint to start our printing. The card was placed under the screen and with the squeegee, we spread the paint around the screen trying to cover our design. Once we were certain that the paint went through, we pealed it away and then let our fabric dry. (Make sure you clean everything well so the paint doesn't dry on the screen and squeegee)
